Happy Easter!

Yesterday Visby was swamped with little witches.
Easter witches (a.k.a Påskkärringar)!
One of those lovely traditions that even Swedes find hard to explain :)
Nevertheless, a great way to start the weekend!

The Day After World Water Day ...

If you're anything like me (living in northern Europe helps) you were probably also too busy complaining about -while being completely amazed at- the abnormal amount of snow falling from the sky (now that it should really be spring!) to remember that it was World Water Day yesterday.

Well it was, as it is every year, on the 22nd of March.

And here's a funny (though also sad & sickening) little clip I found in my inbox (thank you Upworthy)

Visit counterspill.org for a shocking but educational (and highly recommended!) overview of non-renewable energy disasters over the last 100 years.

There's no better eye-opener than this to realize we need to get rid off our addiction to non-renewable energy.

The Professor of Dirt

The world is really really dirty.
And although I actually like (some) graffiti in appropriate places, this is so much better!
Plus I suppose you can't get in trouble for cleaning a wall ... can you?

Ted Talk Tuesday (and a bunch of other stuff)

I keep subscribing to newsletters (the lastest is the one from the upworthy) and constantly bookmark tons of clips and articles to view 'when I have more time'.
That was today :)
And here are some of my favourites:

*What happens when kids grow up on unlimited access to pornography and yet another proof of faulty treatment of behavioral and mental disorders.

*Why men need feminism and why traditional gender roles are pretty messed up.

*The real crisis we face and the need to unlock the ingenuity that's latent in all of us

*Why funding education in prisons is so important and how everybody has the capacity to change if we only give them a chance.

*The truth about gossip and what it says about us

*The meaning and correct use of the word gay and why we should think twice about the things we say

And finally ... a commitment to change the world ...

... and a petition for a world without nuclear weapons.

March at the Museum

From Fondation Maeght in Saint Paul to the Picasso Museum in Antibes and later to the Classical Art Museum as well as the Museum of Photography in Mougins ...

"Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
